Breaking Barriers: The Journey Towards Gender Equality and Inclusion

We came from a patriarchal society run by men. Women were once viewed as objects to be used and manipulated. They believed that women cannot stand on their own without men. They are not going to work and provide for their families since they are accustomed to men doing so. They are confined at home, cleaning and caring for their children because that is what society expects of them.

Fortunately, as the years pass, many people's eyes have opened. Women are now more confidence in doing anything they want without fear of being judged and mistreated by society. They may now express their own opinions. They can now pursue any job they want while also providing for their family. As the years pass, I can say that women are gradually being noticed and valued by society, as well as being allowed to accomplish whatever they wanted to do in the past.

However, even in the present day, women, or any person regardless of gender, face prejudice and condemnation from society since they are still perceived as weak and incapable of standing on their own. This year's Women's Month theme is "WE for Gender Equality and an Inclusive Society," which discusses what we can all do to make a difference and achieve a fully fair society in which no one, regardless of gender, feels judged and discriminated against, but rather appreciated and treated fairly. I understand that everyone wants to live in a peaceful and inclusive community. To do this, we must have the ability to change since our unity as humans will substantially contribute to making this society inclusive and equitable to everyone, not just women and men, but all genders
