                Taking part in the National Clean Up Month celebration actively 


By virtue of Proclamation No. 244, the month of September is declared as the National Clean-Up Month, while Presidential Proclamation No. 470 also designates the 3rd Saturday of September as National Clean-Up Day. 

Together with my club members, we participated in the event at our school that is called a clean-up drive. With the help of the broomsticks, trash bags, and dustpans we cleaned the parts of all the Filipino buildings to maintain it's cleanliness and tidiness of our school.


In this picture, I am picking up trash using my bare hands because even the smallest trash is needed to be picked up and disposed of.


In this image, I am sweeping the back of the PPP building with a broom and dustpan. So that it will look clean, presentable, and prevent the spread of environmental health issues.


Within this image, with the help of trowel, I am planting a fruit bearing tree to help balance our environment; it can also produce fresh air, and when it is time to harvest, we will have something to eat from the tree.

 I can say that I have actively participated in the said celebration. I am fully aware of the environmental issues right now that we face that we should take seriously, and I wanted to help to make the environment around us all to be maintained, tidy and also to avoid diseases that we can get from a dirty environment to spread. That's why I also participated in the national clean-up month, and as shown in the pictures I provided as evidence.

My journey throughout the first quarter of my last year as a junior high school student

To be honest, I was scared and terrified at first about what our journey in Grade 10 will be. I thought that maybe it was far from different from our past 3 years in high school, but to my surprise, the first quarter only has made new discoveries and doors that have opened to everyone, especially me. With the help of all the people around me, and also the people I just met, who helped me and guided me, that made my perspective wider. The first quarter felt like going by as fast as a bullet; we were rushing everything because of the limited time and days we had. I am very grateful that my teachers were determined to teach us, despite the limited time.
